May 31st is student’s last day of school. Students should not bring back packs or school bags to school on that day. It is a full day of school.
Anything left in the lost and found will be donated to Sparc over the summer months. Please have students check for any lost items on Friday May 31st.
Medications in the nurses office must be picked up by 2:30pm Friday May 31st by a parent, unless permission was given for student to take home. Any medications left after the above time will be discarded.
Information for IREAD summer school, will be mailed out to parents this week. Parents have already been contacted by teachers and TC staff if their student is attending.
Textbook rental was due in August and at this time is over due. Please contact 860-4602 for questions.
Class placement for next year will be mailed out July 19th.
TC’s ice cream social is July 29th @ 7pm. Mark your calendars for this date. Have a safe and relaxing summer and we will see you next year!
Come Join Us for Lunch This Summer!
The Star Express Food Service Department of Franklin Township Community School Corporation is excited to offer the USDA Summer Feeding Program, “Summer Servings” again this year! We will have 5 locations in which to provide a meal, at no cost, to all children up to the age of 18. All meals must be consumed on site and are limited to one per child. Students do not have to have previously been on the School Meals Program to participate, nor do they need to apply. This program is not limited to Franklin Township students and all children are welcome. Lunch will be available Monday through Friday from Wednesday, June 5, 2013 to Friday, July 19, 2013 at all locations. (All sites closed Wednesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day).

Field Day is Thursday and Friday is the rain date. Reminder to anyone wanting to volunteer or walk around with classes outside, you must have a background check on file. These are done on line on the district web site and are good for two years. Background checks are also required for field trips and we have several of these in May. We look forward to seeing families soon at our many May activities!
