The immunization requirements for the 2014-2015 school year have been posted.  Some of these have changed from last year, particularly those for high school seniors and incoming 6th graders. Parents of current Juniors or 5th graders need to review these changes.

Buffalo Wild Wings Spirit Night tonight! A portion of the proceeds from Buffalo Wild Wings (at the intersection of Emerson and County Line Road) will come back to Thompson Crossing if you mention you are there for our Spirit Night! Take the night off from the kitchen and enjoy a night at Buffalo Wild Wings!

Box Tops collection officially ended today, however, you are welcome to send in any Box Tops you get over the weekend or forgot to send in this week on Monday. It's a close race between a couple of classes! :)

Thompson Crossing Food Drive Thompson Crossing will having a food drive next week to support our Franklin Township SPARC Center. The SPARC center is a student run food and clothing pantry that provides to those in need in Franklin Township and surrounding communities. Next week, January 26 - 30, Thompson Crossing will be collecting nonperishable food items for the Franklin Township SPARC Center. We will have a spirit week to go along with our food drive. Students will be able to participate in spirit days if they bring at least one non-perishable food item that day. Monday – Free homework pass day Tuesday – “Back in the day” dress like you live in a past decade (70s, 80s, etc) Wednesday – Slipper day Thursday – Hat day Friday – Wacky hair day

Franklin Central High School Student Council Representatives participated in the National Youth "Speak Out" Summit sponsored by the National Council on Educating Black Children on January 21st at Pike High School. The event was broadcast by WISH-TV, hosted by Lori Wilson, and streamed live nationally. Such topics as the role of social media, anti-bullying, and decreasing crime in our communities were deliberated upon as the youth had a chance for their voice to be heard. "Speak Out" dynamic participants included Juniors Janay Adkins, Ashley Curry, Jaspreet Dhillon, Bryce Espiritu, and Devin Raters. Student Council would like to thank Dr. Larry Young of Pike High School for coordinating the event and Principal Kevin Koers for inviting us to represent FCHS. We are very proud of our youth! 5th Grade students at South Creek Elementary School studied the impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr on our society and wrote about their dreams too!
