The immunization requirements for the 2014-2015 school year have been posted.  Some of these have changed from last year, particularly those for high school seniors and incoming 6th graders. Parents of current Juniors or 5th graders need to review these changes.

Thompson Crossing will celebrate Red Ribbon Week the week that we return from fall break. We will celebrate in the following ways: Wearing Wristbands: Thompson Crossing’s PTC has given us the money to purchase wristbands for each student to wear throughout the week indicating their pledge to stay drug free. In addition, each student will receive a red ribbon week pencil Spirit Wear: Students will be asked to wear clothes that go along with each days slogan. 1. Monday: Students will be asked to wear red to kick off Red Ribbon Week. 2. Tuesday: “Team up against drugs” (Students are asked to wear their favorite sports team) 3. Wednesday: “Hats off to being drug free” (Students are asked to wear hats.) 4. Thursday: “Tie one on Against Drugs” (Students are asked to wear crazy ties.) 5. Friday: “Give Drugs the Slip Day” (Students are asked to wear slippers.)

Congratulations Franklin Central on an amazing opening night of All Shook Up. Great cast and crew! Great acting, great singing, great time. Shows again on Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:00 in the FCHS auditorium.

IT'S A THREE-PEAT! Our winner for the 2014 Chilli Cook-Off is... Mrs. May with 120 votes.Congrats to our wonderful IA! Mrs. Chrzanowski, our School Psych came in 2nd place and it was her first year entering. Awesome! Mrs. Huff, one of our fabulous 4th grade teachers came in 3rd and was our surprise late entrance. Fabulous job Mrs. Huff, who is not only expecting her 2nd baby soon but also has a toddler at home. How do you find the time Mrs. Huff?
