The immunization requirements for the 2014-2015 school year have been posted.  Some of these have changed from last year, particularly those for high school seniors and incoming 6th graders. Parents of current Juniors or 5th graders need to review these changes.

Mrs. Cathy England 2014 Indiana Social Studies Teacher of the Year The Indiana Council for the Social Studies named Mrs. Cathy England as the 2014 Distinguished Teacher of the Year. Mrs. England teaches 2nd grade at Bunker Hill Elementary School and is being recognized for her commitment, leadership and creativity in social studies, her work in creating a Veterans' Day program and her us of special community members that visit her classroom. WE ARE CELEBRATING RED RIBBON WEEK HERE AT TC!!!! Wearing Wristbands: Thompson Crossing’s PTC has given us the money to purchase wristbands for each student to wear throughout the week indicating their pledge to stay drug free. In addition, each student will receive a red ribbon week pencil Spirit Wear: Students will be asked to wear clothes that go along with each days slogan. 1. Monday: Students will be asked to wear red to kick off Red Ribbon Week. 2. Tuesday: “Team up against drugs” (Students are asked to wear their favorite sports team) 3. Wednesday: “Hats off to being drug free” (Students are asked to wear hats.) 4. Thursday: “Tie one on Against Drugs” (Students are asked to wear crazy ties.) 5. Friday: “Give Drugs the Slip Day” (Students are asked to wear slippers.)

Fall picture re-take day is Thursday November 6th. Order forms will be sent home with new students only. Extra forms ARE available at the front office by request. If you are requesting to have a retake for your student, please make sure you contact the office or teacher. Thanks!
