Here's an image of "The Great Kindness Challenge" Week's Checklist, which students should have taken home this week. Students should check off their good deeds as they do them and then return it back to school, signed, by Tuesday, February 3rd. If they have done all of the challenges, they will get to put their name on a heart that will be displayed on a large bulletin board at South Creek. Show us your Gator G.R.E.A.T.S.!

Franklin Central High School Student Council Representatives participated in the National Youth "Speak Out" Summit sponsored by the National Council on Educating Black Children on January 21st at Pike High School. The event was broadcast by WISH-TV, hosted by Lori Wilson, and streamed live nationally. Such topics as the role of social media, anti-bullying, and decreasing crime in our communities were deliberated upon as the youth had a chance for their voice to be heard. "Speak Out" dynamic participants included Juniors Janay Adkins, Ashley Curry, Jaspreet Dhillon, Bryce Espiritu, and Devin Raters. Student Council would like to thank Dr. Larry Young of Pike High School for coordinating the event and Principal Kevin Koers for inviting us to represent FCHS. We are very proud of our youth!
