A note from the nurses –

Parents,  please keep all students safe by delivering birthday or celebration treats to the front office PRIOR to
lunch.  All snacks must be individually wrapped items.  Other suggestions are pencils, stickers, etc.  They will be
taken to the classroom and must be distributed by the classroom teacher.  The snacks will then be taken to the
cafeteria by the students.  Please do not distribute food in the cafeteria, as each school has many students with
life-threatening food allergies who must consume safe snacks sent only from home.  These snacks are stored in the
student’ classrooms, and teachers ensure that these students are able to select one of their own treats to take to lunch.
Thus, all students may have a snack in the cafeteria during a lunchtime celebration.  Thank you in advance for
your understanding and support of all students.  See the FT website to learn more about food allergies.
