It is hard to believe that we have almost reached the end of the 2015 - 2016 school year.  We are now planning for the next school year.  We know that there are going to be a great number of changes this summer before we start back to school on July 27.  If you know that you are going to have a change of address, phone number, or need to modify the information that you have on file, you can now do it online through Infinite Campus.  In order to access this feature you MUST have signed up for access to the parent portal.  If you follow this link:  http://www.ftcsc.k12.in.us/it/32 you will be directed to the IC page.  Once you have access to the portal, please make sure you read the District Announcement Section.

ATTENDANCE LINE:             803-8290

Attendance Policy

When a student is going to be absent from school for any reason, the parent must call the attendance line (803-8290) and report it by 9:00 a.m. Upon returning to school following an absence or absences, the student shall bring a written statement.  The note must contain dates of absences and reason as well as parent/guardian signature.  These statements determine if the absence is excusable.  Failure to report (verbal or written) a student absent within 24 hours will result in the absence being unexcused.  Students will be considered unexcused for all absences other than those stipulated by administrative guidelines, state, or federal statutes.

The middle of the quarter 8th Grade Locker Clean-out will be conducted at the beginning of PRIDE today, Wednesday, August 23rd. A PA Announcement will release the students to their locker for the 5 minutes. We will then come back on the PA and announce for students to return to their class. Trash and waste material should be thrown out and books stored in such a way as to not interfere with the locking mechanism. The school has right to examine the contents of student lockers for reasons of health, safety, and security. All locker problems should be reported to the Main Office. Robotics Club applications will now be accepted through today. If you are in another sport or club we work around schedules so don't let that change your mind about joining. In October practice days will be changed from Wednesday to Thursday!
