To the Franklin Township Community: Due to property tax caps, FTCSC loses more than $18 million each year in funding. In 2010, FTCSC faced a significant budget deficit. During the 2011-2012 school year, transportation was discontinued but was returned beginning the 2012-2013 school year due to debt restructuring. Today the Indiana Supreme Court held that the Indiana Constitution does not mandate school corporations to provide transportation to and from school. This means that although it was a challenging time for our community, it was not unconstitutional. FTCSC HAS NO PLANS in the immediate future to eliminate transportation. School Corporations who wish to eliminate transportation can do so with 3 years notice to the community. FTCSC has not given that notice and there is NO DISCUSSION at this time of such notice. As FTCSC focuses on providing the BEST EDUCATION for our children, we thank the community for their support. Dr. Flora

Administrators were great sports today and were "pied" by the students! Part of the wrap up party for our Pennies for Patients campaign in which west students raised almost $12000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Indiana!

Today's Celebration included so many amazing things! We had Pacer's very own Boomer visit, the administrators had pies thrown in their faces, and we had a chance to recognize our teacher of the year, Ms. Zappia! http://youtu.be/pCXlEcgVSGI
