2019-2020 District Calendar Results

Posted On: Monday, November 20, 2017 - 08:16

Dear Franklin Township Community School Corporation Family:

Thank you for participating in the 2019-20 District Calendar Survey. We had 3,181 respondents. Here are the results:

Please Note:  Senate Bill 88 states: “School calendar. Prohibits public schools and accredited nonpublic schools from beginning student instructional days for the school year before the last Monday in August, beginning with the 2018-2019 school year.” As a result of pending legislation, the district may have to alter the calendar accordingly. https://iga.in.gov/legislative/2017/bills/senate/88

August 7, 2017

Dear Franklin Township Students and Parents,

This is an exciting time in your child’s educational journey and we are excited to share it with them. Among the many great things happening in our classrooms, we are making major advances in the use of technology to help engage our students and provide opportunities otherwise not possible. The district has created an intentional and sustainable plan to provide both the training for our teachers and building staff as well as the hardware and software to support these initiatives and propel our students forward.
