  • INSPIRE – A service of INCOLSA that provides free access to databases for Indiana residents.
  • Teacher Tap: Digital and Virtual Field Trips – Provides numerous links to virtual field trips.
  • 42 Explore: Pathfinders for all Ages – Provides a giant list of subjects with at least 4 quality resources and links for each topic.
  • Internet Public Library – An online library that provides resources such as online books, encyclopedias, almanacs, magazines, etc.  It also includes a “KidSpace” and a “TeenSpace” that provide age-appropriate resources and information.
  • Library Spot – Provides links to many other libraries, reference sources, and articles for every age level.
  • The World Almanac for Kids – Fun site full of pathfinders and games for kids.
  • Indianapolis Marion County Public Library: Just For Kids – Pathfinders, homework help, book recommendations, library events.
  • The News Hour Extra – PBS’s News Hour with Jim Lehrer for children. Provides an overview of key news stories and current events.
  • National Geographic Kids – Provides stories/articles, games, videos, activities, pictures, and much more.
  • How Stuff Works – Facts about anything and everything!
  • Math Hunt – Scholastic’s Math Hunt is a game where children explore the world by answering math problems.
  • Library of Congress – The Kids and Families page of this website contains various links that are great for children interested in history, current events, and the world in general.  It also has a teacher’s link that provides over 10 million primary sources online.
