The rebalancing timeline for communication to the subdivisions that will be changing schools (Lakeland Trails, Timberfield, Franklin Parke, and Franklin Trace) was presented to the Board of Education at its regular meeting on Monday, January 12.  This timeline is the roadmap as to when communication and school visitations will occur for those subdivision that are impacted by Step 2 of the rebalancing/redistricting plan. Step 2, already approved by the Board, will be for the 2015 - 16 school years.

Step 3 will be a large movement of students and will most likely impacted much of the school district.  The work and data collection for the the "big one" will begin in the spring of 2015.  This major move is slated for the 2016 - 17 school years. The school district will communicate information via the website, FaceBook, Twitter, local media, and school/district newsletters.

Click here to view the communication timeline for those that will be affected.

There has been a lot of misinformation and negative national media attention on school lunches. We want to share what a great job Star Express does at Bunker Hill to provide healthy meals for our kids. Every student who purchases a lunch gets a milk, entree, and two side items (fruits and veggies). This was lunch today.

ISTEP+ PART 1 UPDATE: Students & Parents: Given today's weather & the possibility of weather later this week with ISTEP taking place- We want to make you aware of what to expect if we have a 2 hour delay. On days when there IS a 2 hour delay - students will still test. Students will be welcomed to West and report to Block 1 - after Block 1 - they will report to testing rooms. This will delay lunches each day by about an hour. We would recommend either your the student eats a late breakfast at home or plans to eat the school breakfast upon arrival. This will keep them from having a lengthy time between nourishment. For your information - the planned schedule is below: Tuesday - Math Wednesday - English Language Arts Thursday - English Language Arts Friday - Science (6th grade only)
