Each school district, as required by Indiana Code, must provide a latch key program for students whose parents wish to participate. The code provides some guidelines and the school district has added additional guidelines to insure that our students are receiving the best possible care before school starts or after the school day. Those organizations that had an interest in providing such a program went through a rigid scope and bid process. The current provider of the latch key program is the YMCA.
