It is hard to believe that we have almost reached the end of the 2015 - 2016 school year.  We are now planning for the next school year.  We know that there are going to be a great number of changes this summer before we start back to school on July 27.  If you know that you are going to have a change of address, phone number, or need to modify the information that you have on file, you can now do it online through Infinite Campus.  In order to access this feature you MUST have signed up for access to the parent portal.  If you follow this link:  http://www.ftcsc.k12.in.us/it/32 you will be directed to the IC page.  Once you have access to the portal, please make sure you read the District Announcement Section.

ATTENDANCE LINE:             803-8290

Attendance Policy

When a student is going to be absent from school for any reason, the parent must call the attendance line (803-8290) and report it by 9:00 a.m. Upon returning to school following an absence or absences, the student shall bring a written statement.  The note must contain dates of absences and reason as well as parent/guardian signature.  These statements determine if the absence is excusable.  Failure to report (verbal or written) a student absent within 24 hours will result in the absence being unexcused.  Students will be considered unexcused for all absences other than those stipulated by administrative guidelines, state, or federal statutes.

Here are today's announcements (11/20): Today is dress as the job you want day! Make sure you ask other students and staff what they are dressed up as! Don't forget to wear your college spirit wear tomorrow! Is your first name William, but everyone knows you as Bill? What about Kimberly, but you prefer to be called Kim? Robert and Rob? Yearbook staff wants to get your name right! If you would like your name displayed in the yearbook as everyone knows it, stop by the office and pick up a form to request your name be changed in the yearbook. These requests will be honored at the discretion of Mrs. Frame. If your name is Phillip, and you asked to be called Pumpkin, we will not honor that request. Forms should be returned to Mrs. Frame in room 521 no later than Tuesday, December 19. Rule of the Week: DRESS CODE - No head coverings, except those worn for religious purposes, may be worn. Other requests must be submitted in writing to the principal. Hats are not to be carried or displayed. Examples of headwear would be sweatbands, scarves, bandanas, and earmuffs. These 32 seniors were able to show off their vast knowledge of relevant constitutional issues by competing in six separate mock congressional hearings. Franklin Central earned a high enough score to place fifth in the region, with Unit 2 and Unit 3 bringing home individual unit awards! Congratulations Flashes!
