Mr. Mark Fuson

Technology Integration Specialist

Mr. Fuson has been in education for 22 years. He spent his first 18 years in the classroom as an English teacher and later as a department chairperson. Mr. Fuson was selected to be one of the first 1:1 teachers in Indiana which led him to be named the Indiana Teacher-in-Residence in 2007. This experience eventually led him to become a trainer for teachers. Since 2014, Mr. Fuson has been training teachers to utilize technology in their classrooms to create a more engaging learning environment and build 21st Century skills in students.

Roles and Responsbilities:

As a Technology Integration Specialist, Mr. Fuson's role is to assist teachers in finding and utilizing technology resources that enhance the learning experience in the classroom. He works with teachers to develop lessons aligned to the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards as well as the Indiana Academic Standards. Mr. Fuson performs these duties by developing staff training and workshops as well as co-teaching and individual lesson development. He primarily works with secondary teachers, but develops materials for the elementary grades as well.
