Franklin Central High School is a Four Star School!! The Indiana Department of Education has released their list of schools they have recognized as a 2013 - 2014 Four Star School and Franklin Central along with Franklin Township's Bunker Hill Elementary and South Creek Elementary are on the list! Only 281 schools out of the 2,068 eligible schools in Indiana earned Four Star School status. Franklin Central is the only Marion County High School to earn this distinction. The eligibility to make Four Star School status requires that a school be in the 75th percentile or above in two calculations: 1. The combined percentages of students in each grade passing the ISTEP English and Math tests; 2. The percentage of individual students in each grade that passed both tests. Each grade is calculated separately and the school must meet the 75th percentile in both categories in all grades tested. Additionally, a qualifying school must have earned an "A" in the state's accountability system and be accredited by the Indiana Department of Education. Congratulations to our students, parents, teachers, staff and the entire Franklin Township Community!!
